Mr. Md. Jamiul Haider was born on 16 April 1970 in Alamdanga Bazar (Holudpatti) area of Alamdanga Upazila, Chuadanga District in a respectable Muslim family. His father's name is Mr. Md. Tofail Uddin and mother's name is Mst. Meherun Nesa.
He obtained S.S.C. from Alamdanga Pilot High School, H.S.C. from Alamdanga College, L.L.B. (Honours) from Rajshahi University and L.L.M. degree from the same university.
After a successful educational career, he passed the 18th BCS (Judiciary) examination in 1998 and joined Manikganj District as an Assistant Judge on 25 January 1999. Later, he served as Assistant Judge, Khulna, Senior Assistant Judge, Barguna, Senior Assistant Judge, Kushtia, Joint District and Sessions Judge, Jhenaidah, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Chittagong, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bandarban, Judge (District and Sessions Judge), Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal, Magura, Judge (District and Sessions Judge), Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-4, Chittagong, Judge (District and Sessions Judge), Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-2, Khulna.
He has been working as District and Sessions Judge (Senior District and Sessions Judge), Bandarban since 20 January 2025.
